Assorted Fruit Salad With Sweet And Spicy Peanut Dressing

Assorted tropical fruits with spicy peanut dressing Indonesian style.

  • Pestle

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g peanut fried
  • 4 red bird-eye chili
  • 150 g Javanese brown sugar
  • 3 tbs tamarind juice
  • 1 young mango peeled, sliced into squares
  • 2 jicamas peeled, sliced into squares
  • 1/4 papaya peeled, sliced into squares
  • 1 pineapple peeled, core removed, sliced into squares
  • 8 rose apples wedged

Instructions
 

  • Using a mortar and a pestle, grind peanut, bird-eye chili, brown sugar and tamarind juice to make a sticky paste. If it is too sticky, add 1 tbs of hot water to dilute, set aside.
  • Assemble the fruits and serve with the sauce.
